If you are a parent, you know the feeling. I like the look on Mrs. Roberts' face as little man Roberts breaks free and dances in front of the presidential podium. Mrs. Roberts appears totally calm and collected. I wonder what a transcript of her thoughts would read like.
We once did an advent reading in front of the church with all four of our childen with us ... one was a baby and one was a toddler at the time. It was an adventure, and brings a smile as I think back on it. I know a little of what the Roberts might have been thinking. Of course, my wife and I did not have an audience of 60 million viewers, and we were not standing next to the presidential podium at the time.

Let those kids be kids! I think this is great. Children should be seen and heard!

That is too funny though I wonder if these are just doctored images. The little girl was not standing by her mom at the end of the speech.

*grin*
What a great photo!
And a good reminder that the leaders in our country are just people, too.
I hope that the Roberts family treasures these photos. . .

Jeff-- Could not help but notice that they had their children relatively late in life. Wonder if there is a story there somehow.

Joe,
Their kids are adopted. I don't know the story.

The photo's not doctored. I've seen the footage, and the subsequent footage of the secret service escorting them out. :)
