Tgirsch forwarded a story to me ... some protesters heckled a Hindu chaplain who was trying to pray at the opening of the Senate.  They shouted "No Lord but Jesus Christ" and "There's only one true God," and used the term "abomination."

In my last post, I issued an invitation to DT readers to tell me what to blog about.  Paul responded with.

"Welcome back. I'd go with the story that the Pope says you don't attend a 'real' church. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how you're different from Catholics, Baptists, etc., and whether those differences are important to God."

Vacation is over ... sigh.  Not only that, I am suffering through my worst drought of writer's block since starting this blog.  Anything interesting to post about?

Standing atop Glacier point and looking three thousand feet straight down into Yosemite valley will do wonders for your prayer life.  The entire Dawntreader clan is enjoying the beauty of God's artwork in the Sierra Nevada this week.  Amazing what God can do with ice, water and granite.

Nothing like coming home for ten days.  I grew up in Pasadena, California.  It is glorious to be back in California in the shadow of the San Gabriel Mountains.  I drove past the Rose Bowl yesterday on the 210 freeway.  I need to make it out for another Rose Parade.  Perhaps in '08.
