I would have been momentarily disappointed if Hayward had hit this shot. As a Duke fan for over two decades, it would have hurt to see this over-achieving group of Blue Devils lose the championship. The pain would have quickly passed, however.
After this tournament, how can you not be a Butler fan? Mr. D is huge Butler fan now. Classy coach, amazing players, gutsy performance.
UNC has three strong recruits coming in (Harrison Barnes, Kendall Marshall and Reggie Bullock - all McDonald's All-Americans), and hopefully the young players from this year will mature and improve. Might end up being one of those amazing turn-around years. (At least that's what I keep telling myself. :D )

As a Tarheel fan I was obviously NOT cheering for Duke and would have been tremendously delighted if Hayward had hit this shot.
That said, it was a great game, well-played by two classy teams, and worthy of the title "championship."

I am looking forward to seeing a renewed Carolina team next year. The ACC was not the same this year without a powerful Tarheel team.
Any good recruits coming in?
