Watching Foxnews coverage tonight was a blend of hope mixed with some incredibly angry reporters. The story of what is taking place in Houston is inspiring. Juxtapose that with Geraldo and Shep coming unglued and angry. A truly bizarre night.
I am thankful at the outpouring of support. I think we are going to see an unleashing of kindness, generosity and mercy on a vast scale in the weeks and months to come. As bloggers, we need to highlight this. The MSM will focus on who is to blame, and why the help was so late in coming, and why the government is lousy, yadi, yadi.
Bloggers can offset this depressing and angry coverage. I will tell uplifting stories as I hear them. I hope you do as well.
Have a good Labor day weekend everyone.
Geraldo and Shep came unglued? I missed that. Details! Details!

Both Geraldo and Shep showed an unusual amount of emotion -- primarily anger -- on the O'Reilly Factor. Geraldo I expect it from -- but I have never seen Shep get like that. They guy looks like he has not slept in a week. O'Reilly somehow calmed him down. The thing that set Shep off was the busing of tourists from the Hyatt -- ahead of refugees on the overpass and at the dome.

I did not watch Fox yesterday, but I notice that Geraldo is nothing but upbeat and positive today. "Ebullient" to use his word, and complimentary of U.S. military efforts. He says we are really getting the job done.
Perhaps he is trying to compensate for yesterday. Or perhaps someone came down on him for his earlier tantrum.
In any case, it is good to see a positive change both in coverage and circumstance.
